In this monoprinting workshop, create beautiful one-prints using our little printing press and local botanicals and household objects. Each print is a one-off work of art, so this process can be a fantastic way to create personalised gifts or greetings cards. This workshop consists of three hours broken down roughly as follows (depending on group experience and interests):

• 1 hour intro and demonstration with some time for test prints. In this part, I will introduce you to three types of monoprinting using a printing press, as well as teach you how to set up a press and inks. I will also talk you through the products I use and what you might have available at home that you ca use to continue after the workshop.
• 1 hour printing, and lots of play! Once you are happy with the three basic processes I have shown you, you will be left to create and play with my support so you can really get stuck in without worrying about the results. This is the time for play.
• 1 hour extended practice and clean-up. If there is time at the end and the group wish to learn more, then this is the point where I may introduce further ways to push these processes. Or this ma be this time you with to try something a bit off the page (while you have someone present to answer all your questions or help work through your ideas). Then I will teach you how to safely clean up using house-hold products so that you can clean up whenever you try again on your own!

All my workshops are designed to make sure you are left feeling confident that you can continue to create and play using the resources you already have available to you, rather than relying on access to specialist equipment and facilities or investing in pricey materials (although, I do also provide recommendations on these should you wish to invest in the practice!)

All materials are provided, so just bring yourselves!
All ages and abilities welcome (and encouraged!)
No previous experience needed (but fun even for experts!)
Everything is designed to be portable, so workshop can be delivered in any space (and I come to you!)

Here are the options available as part of my fundraising event:

• 3 hours 1-to-1
• 3 hours private group workshop (2-6 people)
• 3 hours private group workshop (7-12 people)

But this can be easily adapted and personalised for your needs.

Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

This is an art workshop, so wear clothes you don’t mind getting a little messy.

We use oil-based inks and clean with cooking oils to facilitate all abilities, be more eco-friendly, and reduce the likelihood of reactions to products.
